January 28 -Still Adjusting

I was feeling a little bit lazy this morning because I got a migraine at 3:00AM. I prayed to God for just a little help because I really wanted to workout in the morning. For the past months I stopped working out because I have been waking up with neck pains and migraines. My neurologist says that it's related to my weight gain but I didn't believe her. But finally, I am taking over and I know in my heart that once I stabilize my weight my migraines will disappear and all the other aches and pains I may have.


My activities for today:
-Brisk Walking
Time: 33 minutes

-Light Stretching
Time: 5 minutes

-Intermmediate Pilates
Time: 15 minutes



My menu for today:

BREAKFAST
  • 1/2 cup Cooked oatmeal with honey and low fat milk
  • 1 red apple

SNACK
  • 1 bag Act II Light Butter Popcorn


LUNCH

  • 200g Pan seared sole fillet with Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 1 cup Sautéed Cauliflower and Cabbage, salted


SNACK

  • 250g Pomelo
  • 8pc Pork Siomai



DINNER

  • 100g Baked Pork Belly (Fat removed)



I had a tough time today because I had an event and they served lots of delicious desserts. It took a lot of energy to say "NO!" but I was able to manage.

I also had a tough time in the afternoon because I had a migraine that didn't go away even with medication. I slept early to get rid of my headache because I really wanted to wake up tomorrow and workout.

It's only day 2 and I pray everyday that things will get easier when it comes to eating less and working out.

Today is a step closer to my goal, tomorrow will be better! I am on the road to recovery, YES I CAN!
