January 29 -Overeating

Today I woke up at 5:20AM with a headache again so I drank Migraine medicine. I fell asleep after an hour and woke up at 8:00AM to workout. I was actually thinking of going for a run but I stopped myself. I am easing myself slowing into a more vigorous cardio workout. I don't want to burnout again like what happened to me the last time.

I wasn't able to do Pilates because I was quite tired from the walk I did outside. So I just did some light stretching instead.


My activities for today:

-Brisk Walking
Time: 42 minutes

-Light Stretching
Time: 5 minutes




My menu for today:


BREAKFAST
  • 1cup cooked oatmeal with milk and honey
  • 1 orange


LUNCH
  • 100g Norwegian Salmon (salt and pepper)
  • Lettuce Salad with Mango dressing


SNACK
  • 3 sticks of Chicken Satay
  • 1 pc Chicken Finger

  • Lean Turkey Breast Sandwich


DINNER
  • 8pcs Shrimp Dumplings


I went over board today with my calories. I am over by about 800 calories. I knew I shouldn't have eaten the snack at the event this afternoon at Simply Thai. I wasn't really hungry but I still ate. It's frustrating but at least I didn't order any sweetened and carbonated drinks!

I really have to increase my water intake. I forgot to log in 2 more glasses so I had about 4 today. I don't know where all the salt is coming from. I don't believe that I consumed that much salt. Most of the food that are set in the My Net Diary app is pre set so sometimes you just have to choose the one that is closest to the one you ate.

After a week, I will remove 200 calories from my diet until I am eating only about 1500. For my height (according to my nutritionist), I should be having about 1800. So I am going to take it slow this time.

Today is a step closer to my goal, tomorrow will be better! I am on the road to recovery, YES I CAN!
